With our initiatives, projects, number of partners, and plans expanding at an incredibly exciting rate, AMO is hiring an executive assistant to help us manage the increased workload! We’re excited to introduce you to Abbie that will be helping Fatimah and the team to get streamlined and ever more done.

What is your role at Agile Management Office?

My role with AMO is Executive Assistant to the CEO, Fatimah Abbouchi. My primary responsibility is to provide high level support to Fatimah as well as to the Senior Lead’s when required. I will draw on my previous EA and event management experience to be able to provide creative, flexible, and highly organised support.

Why did you choose to work for Agile Management Office?

My professional background is centred around time management, organisation, and innovative and creative efficiency. Working with an organisation whose philosophy is centred around those things struck me as an exciting opportunity to collaborate with like-minded professionals. My alignment with AMO culture and philosophy is further supported by relating to the associated NFP, Return of the Panda, given I have a vested interest in the mental health space.

Beyond this, I am delighted to be able to work alongside a passionate female professional, after reading about, and then speaking to, Fatimah I felt that I would be able to support her enthusiastically and that we could make a dynamic team.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

I am currently studying Psychology. This takes up a lot of my time and brain space so it’s lucky I love it!

Outside of work and study I am something of a social butterfly. I see as much live music as I possibly can, spend every sunny day at the beach, and try to keep my finger on the pulse of art and foodie culture in Melbourne. To re-centre I like to spend time swimming or going for walks, fussing over my pot-plants, and attempting to recreate delicious culturally diverse dishes; my latest favourite is Kimchi Jjigae.

Up early or out late?

I’m a night owl driven by curiosity and a busy schedule. Most evenings I am up late studying, having catch up phone calls with friends and family, cooking up a storm of ingredients I forgot I had, or losing track of time listening to music while repotting my plants.
