With our initiatives, projects, number of partners, and plans expanding at an incredibly exciting rate, AMO is hiring some new digital marketing interns to help us manage the increased communication efforts! We’re excited to introduce you to Laura that will be helping us with digital marketing.

What is your role at Agile Management Office?

I’ll be working as the Digital Marketing Intern at AMO – I’m excited to be putting my skills from a recent 12-week course on Brand Experience and Content and Social Media marketing to the test! This will be my first marketing role, and I’ll be working with the AMO Marketing team to support their current marketing strategy for AMO and Return of the Panda. SEO, blogging, crafting copy, social media, research – I’ll be doing it all! I am keen to see how a business like AMO builds relationships and connects with their customers.

Why did you choose to work for Agile Management Office?

I was drawn to working with Agile Management Office because of the small, agile team and the variety of experiences I would get. I’ve spent the last few years working for an international company, and I am eager to see how a smaller outfit responds to the needs of its customers in real time. I have a background in Project Management too, and I wanted to have some background knowledge on the services that I would need to be marketing, so I can concentrate on those skills. I was also really drawn to the chance to work on Return of the Panda – I am very vocal in my own life about the importance of investing in and prioritising your mental health as much as you do your physical health, and I am excited to work on content around an issue so close to my heart.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

When I am not working I’m with my friends – you can usually find me around a table with some good food and drinks talking about all the topics under the sun. I love to read, and I occasionally review books on community radio in Melbourne. I’ll read anything and everything, but I have a soft spot for well-written biographies about women in history. I love to travel – locally and

internationally! A lot of my time is spent exploring new places or showing people the special haunts I’ve discovered.

Up early or out late?

Definitely out late – but I have to say, whenever I have gotten up early I’ve never regretted it!
